CUPE Local 3999 Union
CUPE BC – April 2025

A Proud History and Bright Future for Local 3999

Local 3999, a dedicated part of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) in BC, has been a cornerstone for working people in our community. Over the years, we’ve come together to fight for better working conditions, fair wages, and respect on the job. Our union’s strength comes from each and every one of you, and we are incredibly proud of the impact we have made as a collective.

As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re excited to announce a new initiative that invites all of you to help shape the future of our local. It’s time for a new logo, and we want YOU to be a part of it!

Local 3999 Logo Design Contest

We’re launching a Logo Design Contest for Local 3999, and we’re inviting all our members to submit their design concepts. This is your chance to leave your mark on the visual identity of our union!

The winning logo will be featured across all of our materials and branding, and we’d love to see designs that reflect the values of our local, the beauty of our environment, and the strength of our community. Some ideas we’re exploring include imagery that represents the stunning natural landscapes around us—such as mountains, water, or other local symbols that hold meaning for our members.

How to Enter:

  • Submit your logo design concept by May 10th, 2025 to recsec3999@gmail.com
  • The design must be submitted in a high-resolution format.
  • All submissions should reflect the spirit of Local 3999 and CUPE BC.

The Prize:
The winner will not only have their logo concept proudly displayed but will also be invited to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Kelowna in October 2025! It’s a great opportunity to connect with fellow union members, share ideas, and contribute to the future of Local 3999.

We can’t wait to see your creativity shine through. The new logo will be a reflection of our shared values and a symbol of our continued commitment to one another and our community.

Stay tuned for more details, and thank you for all that you do to make Local 3999 strong!

In Solidarity,
The Executive Team, Local 3999
